Project Kick-off Meeting
Date: 3.-4. Feb 2026
Location: Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina
The Stride & Glide project officially started with a kick-off meeting in Sarajevo, hosted by the project coordinator, the National Committee for Sport and Recreation in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting brought together all project partners to discuss the project objectives, work plan, communication, research activities, and the next steps for implementing inclusive sport activities across partner countries.
During the meeting, partners had the opportunity to present their organisations, align responsibilities, and establish a common understanding of how the project will support people with disabilities in accessing running, hiking, swimming, and other sport activities.
International Training in Portugal
Date: Sep-Oct 2026
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
The next international activity will be a training event in Portugal, focused on strengthening the skills of professionals, volunteers, and partner organisations working in the field of inclusive sport. The training will provide space for learning, practical exchange, and discussion on how to design and deliver accessible sport activities for people with disabilities.
This activity will support the project’s capacity-building goals and help partners prepare for local inclusive sport events in their communities.
